Conference

The second meeting of the German-Polish conversations took place from March 25 to 27, 2026 in Łódź and was organized by Prof. Władysław Czapliński.

The focus was on questions of general international law, both in their practical and theoretical dimensions. Discussions centered particularly on current conflict situations – such as in Gaza, Iran, and Ukraine – as well as fundamental topics like the sources of international law, the significance of general legal principles, and the influence of international jurisdiction.

The talks are scheduled to continue in Frankfurt (Oder) in 2028. The presentations and discussions are eagerly anticipated.
