The awards ceremony for the DGIR Dissertation Prizes took place on March 13, 2025, as part of the 39th Biennial Conference in Hamburg.

The Hermann Mosler Prize was awarded to Dr. Anna Hankings-Evans for her dissertation entitled "China-Afrika-BITs im Lichte globaler Machtverlagerungen: Macht- und Gerechtigkeitsnormen in der Investitionsrechtsbeziehung", published by Mohr Siebeck.

The Gerhard Kegel Prize was awarded to Dr. Alix Schulz for her dissertation "Gender Self-Determination in International Private Law", published by Mohr Siebeck.
