The award ceremony of the Dissertation Prizes took place on 15 March 2023 during the 38th Biennial Conference in Göttingen.

Dr. Jens Theilen was awarded the Hermann-Mosler Prize for his dissertation on „European Consensus between Strategy and Principle - The Use of Vertically Comparative Legal Reasoning in Regional Human Rights Adjudication“, published with Nomos.

The Gerhard-Kegel Prize was awarded to Dr. Markus Lieberknecht for his dissertation with the topic „Die internationale Legalitätspflicht - Aktienrechtliche Organhaftung als Instrument globaler Rechtsdurchsetzung“, published with WoltersKluwer.
